In five semesters (67 credit hours), you’ll study computer concepts, an introduction to healthcare technology, Electronic Health Records (EHR), statistics, pathophysiology, quality improvement, reimbursement methodologies, communications, psychology, among others. There are several reasons an online health information technology degree program is a good option.
First, is the Coronavirus pandemic. We saw schools quickly move to online education when the pandemic hit in early 2020. This move reduced infection rates and helped “flatten the curve” of new infections.
